Jennifer Lamboll

Jennifer Lamboll BEM DL was appointed a Deputy Lieutenant for Oxfordshire in 2026. She is part of the Lieutenancy team focused on South Oxfordshire and shares the Lieutenancy’s Youth Sports brief for the County.

Jennifer has worked for Thames Valley Police (TVP) for over 36 years and is currently a supervisor in the Contact Management Centre, where she provides room cover, coaching, quality assurance and support to two staff network groups. Voluntary work within TVP started with running the Police Cadets for several years whilst also serving as a Special Constable for over twenty years, a role she thoroughly enjoyed. Jennifer was awarded a British Empire Medal in 2025 for services to Policing.

Away from work Jennifer currently has volunteer responsibilities with the Abingdon Family Contact Centre and she is the Club Welfare Officer for Hinksey Sculling School in Oxford. Current hobbies include weight lifting, yoga and Pilates with some baking for good therapy.

Jennifer has lived in Oxford all her life and now resides in Abingdon with her husband Roger. They have two adult sons.
