Julian Sayers
Julian Sayers MBE DL FRICS FAAV FRAgS has been a Deputy Lieutenant for Oxfordshire since 2022. He is part of the Lieutenancy Team focused on West Oxfordshire and is the Lieutenancy’s link to Carterton. He also holds the Lieutenancy’s Agricultural Brief for the County.
Julian is a Chartered Surveyor and Consultant with Brown & Co advising farmers and landowners. Alongside this work, he is a Vice President of The Farmers Club, having been chair and a trustee. He is chair of the Farm Tenancy Forum, for the Defra Ministers, and chair of The Worshipful Company of Farmers’ Trustee Company. Formerly, he was Master of the Company. He is a Trustee of the Lawes Agricultural Trust and the Oxfordshire Agricultural Society Trust. Julian is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Agricultural University, for whom he has served as Vice Chairman of Governors, is a Life Vice-President of the National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs, and a Vice President of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.
Julian lives in Wantage with his wife Dee.
