The Duke of Gloucester visits RAAF at RAF Brize Norton

The Duke of Gloucester, as Honorary Air Commodore, visited the Air and Space Combat Power (ASCP) and Royal Auxiliary Air Force Squadrons, RAF Brize Norton on March 12th 2026.

Once again RAF Brize Norton demonstrated its world-leading capabilities and this visit provided an opportunity to meet dedicated personnel and to circulate around stands illustrating the latest developments in Global Enablement and Combat Air amongst other disciplines. Unfortunately, due to high winds, the fly-past had to be cancelled but His Royal Highness had an opportunity to board some impressive aircraft including the magnificent C-17.
