Moira Darlington

Moira studied Classics at St Anne’s College, Oxford, before taking a PGCE in History and RS at the University of London. She has worked in education for forty years in the state and private sectors, in both academic and pastoral leadership roles, and was an I.S.I inspector. She has wide experience as a school governor, currently at Barton Park Primary and St Clare’s, College, Oxford. A former trustee of Emmaus, she is involved in a number of local charities including being co-patron of MyVision and on the advisory board of African Families in the UK (AfiUK).

Moira has lived in Oxford with her husband, Stephen, since 1985. She convenes the East Oxford DL group and is particularly focused on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
